The International Staff Week at GEA College – Faculty of Entrepreneurship will focus on how to bring practical business knowledge into education to make a global impact. During the event, there will be workshops, discussions, and an exchange of best practices for participants. This week is part of the Erasmus+ program, specifically the Blended Intensive Program. We’ll also share our own experiences and have plenty of time for networking, making new connections, and exploring the beautiful capital city of Slovenia, Ljubljana. Come join us as we work together to improve HEI education for everyone.

Focus points:
Join us for a week of discussions, insightful workshops, and networking opportunities aimed at exploring innovative approaches to integrating practical business knowledge into educational settings. Key highlights include the Kick-off Day, where you’ll learn about GEA College and Slovenia’s educational landscape; a career development focus, offering strategies for integrating practical experiences into education; business idea support, and guiding developing business ideas during studies.
Who can apply?
International Staff Week 2024 is designed for all staff that is dealing with students (supporting offices, lecturers etc.). All interested candidates working within HEI are welcome. Lecturers can also opt to hold additional lectures upon advance notice.
Please note that the number of participants is limited.
When?
Reserve your time from April 8th till April 12th, 2024.
The International Staff Week course content is a 5-day program (Monday – Friday). However, we have provided you with two additional days for arrival and departure.
VIRTUAL COMPONENT to the program is obligatory and will be held online on 4. 4. 2024 at 10 CET.

Exploring of Ljubljana and Slovenia
Besides the innovative program participants of GEA College International Staff Week 2024 will also get the chance to explore Slovenia and its capital. Ljubljana was crowned with the title of Best European Destination in 2022 and is known for its vibrant city life. Magnificent Ljubljana Castle represents the rich history and culture of the city. To get away from city life students will get the opportunity to visit also Slovene coastal towns as well as the unique island of Bled.

Minimum number of participants for the International Staff Week 2024 is 15. Should the number of received applications be lower than 15, the organizer may implement the right to change the dates, and content or cancel the International Staff Week. All candidates will be duly informed on the preparation of the International Staff Week 2024 and any possible alterations.
COVID-19 Clause: The organizer is exercising the right to make all necessary changes to the content, dates, prices, or any other part, important for the implementation of the International Staff Week in case of “force majeure” related to the COVID-19 situation.
