GEA College International Summer School – Innovative Bootcamp 2023 will be implemented together in partnership with Baltazar Zaprešić University from Croatia, BUEM Bratislava University of Business and Management from Slovakia, NEWTON University from Czech Republic and WSZECHNICA Polska University of Applied Sciences from Poland.

GEA College International Summer School 2023 – Sustainable and innovative business models whit its reach content will address knowledge, skills and innovative techniques students need in the world of business. The agenda will feature a set of lectures, round tables, discussions, innovative workshops and discussions, where students will work to develop their own business idea through sustainable and innovative business models. What is more, they will enhance their knowledge also in practice through visits to renowned local and international companies. In addition to that, participants will have also the chance to explore Slovenia and its beauties.

GEA College International Summer School is part of Blended Intensive Program under Erasmus+ programme.

Focus points:

featuring interesting and unique course content, tailored at doing business in the digital era;
providing practical knowledge and skills via innovative teaching methods;
promoting and developing of entrepreneurial mindset and sustainable standards;
developing an innovative and sustainable business model together with business idea and plan;
creating innovative marketing strategy to present the business idea
presenting and launching the idea on the competitive global market;
creating business model taking in consideration financial concepts;
comprehensive touristic experience with trips and excursions – exploring Ljubljana and Slovenia.

GEA College International Summer School 2023 is a 5-day programe (Monday – Friday). However, we have provided students with two additional days for arrival and departure.

Monday, 15.05.2023: INTRODUCTION TO CREATION OF BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS

Skills learned: Understanding the tools to sucessfully create business plan, considering sustainable and innovative approaches. The outcome will be how to succesfully create business model, what is business model CANVAS as well as what kind of segments does it contain.

Tuesday, 16.05.2023: SUSTAINABLE AND INNOVATIVE APPROACH IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Skills learned: Understanding and application of the concepts of sustainability and innovativenes to business.

Wednesday, 17.05.2023: MARKETING OF BUSINESS IDEA

Skills learned: Get to know marketing tools that help with the creation of marketing strategy and how to apply them in an innovative and sustainable way.

Thursday, 18.05.2023: START UP VISIT IN THE CLASSROOM

Skills learned: Understanding how slovene start up companies deal with sustainable and green standards.

Friday, 19.05.2023: PRESENTATION SKILLS-PITCHING

Skills learned: Understanding and application of elevator pitch as a presentation technique considering innovative and sustainable approach in economy.

Saturday, 20.05.2023: Departures

Virtual component will be added to the program. Detailed agenda with timeline will be provided to applicants.

Exploring of Ljubljana and Slovenia

Besides the innovative programe, students participating at GEA College International Summer School 2023 will also get the chance to explore Slovenia and its capital. Ljubljana was crowned with title of Best European Destination in 2022 and is known for its vibrant city life. Magnificent Ljubljana castle is representing rich history and culture of the city. To get away from city life students will get the opportunity to visit also Slovene coastal towns as well as unique island of Bled.
