ABSRC is a global conference. Researchers and practitioners from 50 different countries participated at the past ABSRCs.

About ABSRC

Advances in Business – Related Scientific research Conference is an important international gathering of business and business-related sciences scholars and educators.

In addition to scientific papers, the focus is on various best practices and solutions, which are important for business-related policies and activities at the individual, organizational, group, network, local, regional, national, international, and global level.

The theme for ABSRC 2027 will be “Future-ready professionals: skills, talent, and the evolution of work”.

One of the outcomes of the conference will be a scientific monograph, which will be published after the conference.

Keynote speaker

Lučka Guna is an AI engineer and consultant focused on bridging the gap between AI strategy and real-world implementation. Her work combines hands-on development of AI systems with advisory projects that help organizations design sustainable and responsible AI adoption strategies. She works on LLM-driven data analysis solutions, internal AI assistants, and enterprise AI governance frameworks, while also guiding organizations through the strategic and operational challenges of integrating AI into their workflows. Her main interest lies in balancing technical innovation with organizational readiness, ensuring that AI systems are not only powerful, but also usable, accountable, and aligned with business goals.

Important notice

The ABSRC Ljubljana 2027 will be implemented in Ljubljana with on-site and online participation.

Authors should submit abstracts by February 15, 2027. Submissions of papers (non-obligatory) will be accepted until March 10, 2027. All submissions must be entirely original, not previously published, and must not be under concurrent consideration or scheduled for presentation elsewhere. All abstracts/papers must be submitted online: https://gea-college.si/en/absrc-2/

Abstract submissions should include a Title, Authors (names, affiliations, e-mails of all authors and a notation (*) of the corresponding author), an Abstract (no more than 150 words) and 3-5 Keywords. Paper submissions should not exceed 12 pages, including the Abstract, text body (Introduction, Theory, Methods, Findings, Discussion, Conclusions and Implications), Tables, Figures and References.

All submissions will be reviewed. Selection for inclusion in the conference program will be based upon quality, originality, and relevance, in the judgment of the review process. Specific formatting requirements are provided in the abstract/paper layout section.

Publications

Publishing opportunities

All selected abstracts will be published in the ABSRC 2027 Proceedings. The best papers will be selected through peer review and published in a scientific monograph after the conference.
