COMMON FEATURES OF ALL PROGRAMMES:
- Online classes are held twice a week, always after 5 PM, allowing real-time interactive participation remotely.
- The schedule is set for the entire year in advance, making planning easier.
- Online learning platforms provide structured access to all study materials, presentations, assignments, and discussion forums.
- Lecturers regularly upload additional content and provide feedback on students’ work.
- In-person Saturday sessions (4–6 times per year) include practical exercises, excursions, guest lecturers, and project work, highly valued by students.
- Exams (written and oral) are conducted remotely in a supervised environment, ensuring complete flexibility in fulfilling study obligations.
SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE ECONOMICS PROGRAMME:
- Classes are conducted both in a traditional classroom setting and via live-streaming.
- All students have access to recorded lectures.
- The programme is available in three specializations: Business, Insurance, and Accounting.
- Exams for students who opt for the traditional study mode are conducted in person.
You can enrol in a higher education programme if you meet one of the following criteria:
- Completion of the General Matura or Vocational Matura (or the final exam/diploma before 2002). No need for a fifth subject exam; Vocational Matura alone is sufficient.
- Completion of a Master Craftsman, Foreman, or Managerial Exam, along with three years of work experience, and passing a proficiency test in Slovenian (or Italian/Magyar in bilingual areas) and Mathematics or a Foreign Language at the level required for Vocational Matura.
- For programmes such as Ballet, Photography, Media Production, Material Design, or Social Network Organizer, candidates must also pass a special aptitude or psychophysical ability test.
- The internship provides valuable experience for students who have not yet worked in their field.
- Students with relevant work experience may have their internship requirements recognized.
- Each study programme has internship coordinators who guide students through the process of completing or recognizing their practical education.
- Every academic year starts with an introductory session for students to learn about study methods, meet classmates, and connect with faculty.
- Technical setup and preparation for remote exams take place at the start of the year to ensure a smooth experience.
- Lectures are held twice a week after 5 PM, making them accessible to working students.
- Saturday practical sessions occur four to six times per year and focus on hands-on learning.
- The entire academic year’s schedule is set in advance, enabling better planning.
- Exams are conducted in three sessions: the first follows the completion of each course, while additional sessions take place during the winter and summer/fall exam periods.

Each lecturer has a unique teaching approach. Most use presentations uploaded to the online classroom and often provide additional materials for effective learning. Students also use different study methods—some take notes on laptops, while others prefer traditional handwritten notes.
