How to start and What does the 3 + 1 + 1 study program mean?
Your first step is to enroll in the Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship at GEA College and express interest in studying in the USA.
3+1 means 3 years of study at GEA College, followed by 1 year of study in the USA at St. Francis College. During this year abroad, you will gain knowledge to soar to new heights, experience campus life, and upon passing your exams, you will earn an American degree. When you return to Slovenia, you can proudly hold both an American and a European degree.
+1 means that after returning to Slovenia, you can complete an additional year of Master’s studies at GEA College and earn a Master’s degree.
This means that after five years of study, you will hold both an American and a European degree, as well as a Master’s degree.
After obtaining your American degree, you will receive “OPT” (Optional Practical Training), allowing you to work in the USA as well!
How to secure a spot, what is the process, and who helps with it?

Completion of the 3-year Bachelor’s program at GEA College.

An individual meeting with the International Office, which personalizes your entire experience – handling the administrative process, reviewing your completed exams, creating your study plan, and preparing a financial and logistical plan.

During the summer, you will have access to Quick School and Online Classes, visa and accommodation arrangements.
For full support – from the first individual meeting, preparation of your educational and financial plan, to your departure for St. Francis College – the International Office at GEA College will take care of everything.
